Dear friends and colleagues!
In October 2019 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vladislav Fedorovich Babenko celebrates his 70th anniversary. On anniversary occasion of V.F. Babenko’s, who is outstanding mathematician and expert in Approximation Theory, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University together with Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is organizing Ukrainian Scientific Conference «APPROXIMATION THEORY AND ITS APPLICATION» that will be held in Dnipro on October 3-5, 2019.
The conference venue will be the Students Palace of Dnipro National University, located in a picturesque T.G. Shevchenko park on the banks of the Dnipro River. The conference program includes 30- and 15-minutes talks as well as poster presentations. Official languages of the conference are Ukrainian and English.
Conference topics (sections):
- Approximation Theory of functions of real variable;
- Approximation Theory of functions of complex variable;
- Equations of Mathematical Physics and Optimization Theory;
- Optimal recovery of functions, functionals, operators;
- Harmonic Analysis;
- Wavelets and its applications.
Preliminary amount of the registration fee is $10-20 (will be specified later). Registration fee is paid at check-in.
It is planned to publish a book of abstracts by the opening of the conference. Deadline for submitting the abstracts is September 05, 2019.
